Quick question: What was Abu Bakr, radi Allahu anhu, (Prophet Muhammad, salla Allahu alayhi wa sallam, closest companion) real name?

Last week, after the Home Re-modeling Workshop, the youth were each given a packet of information to study. Today, the youth arrived at the ISGL for a friendly competition of Islamic Jeopardy. Questions were formed based on the information provided in the study packets. Topics covered in today’s competition were:

  • Companions of Prophet Muhammad, salla Allahu alayhi wa sallam
  • Fair Oaks Farms
  • Important dates on the Hijri (lunar) calendar
  • Mothers of the believers
  • Muslim scholars
  • Muslim scientists
  • Muslim athletes
  • Prophets sent to mankind
  • Rituals of Hajj

Youth used buzzers to compete against one another to be the first to correctly answer questions. Initially the competition was a close race between Mohaned, Abdel Rahman, and Tasawwar. After the final Jeopardy question, however, Mohaned ran away with the game, earning a game-high total of 7100 points. Congratulations to Mohaned on his win in Islamic Jeopardy.

Oh yeah, you might be wondering what the answer is to the question asked at the beginning of this post. What was Abu Bakr, radi Allahu anhu, real name?
