Below are the ingredients and recipe details we’ll use on Friday night to make homemade pizza.

 

SUPPLIES NEEDED:

  • 1 can Pillsbury refrigerated classic pizza dough (13.8 ounces)
  • 7 sticks (1 ounce each) of string cheese
  • 1 can (8 ounces) of pizza sauce
  • 2 cups (16 ounces) of shredded Mozzarella cheese
  • Your choice of toppings (black olives, green pepper, pineapple, mushroom, extra cheese)
  • Cooking spray
  • 1 spoon
  • 1 circular or rectangular cooking pan
  • 1 cookie cutter

 

DIRECTIONS:

1.) Pre-heat oven to 425 degrees Fahrenhait.

2.) Lightly cover cooking pan with cooking spray or butter.

3.) Open container of dough and place dough in center of cooking pan.

4.) Gently push dough until the dough covers the entire pan and extends 1 inch over the edge of the cooking pan.

5.) Place sticks of string cheese along edges of dough (where pizza crust will be).

6.) Fold dough (currently extended over pan edges) over the string cheese. Make sure to enclose and seal the dough over the cheese tightly.

7.) Pour pizza sauce on pizza dough. Use a spoon to evenly distribute sauce over the dough.

8.) Add mozzarella (or your choice of chopped cheese) gently over the sauce.

9.) Add pizza toppings of your choice over the mozarella cheese.

10.) Place cooking can with pizza in oven. Bake pizza for 12-16 minutes or until the pizza crust is golden brown and cheese in center is melted.

11.) Once pizza has finished baking, use a pizza cutter or knife to evenly cut pizza slices (wedges or squares depending on your personal preference).
